Am Mittwochmorgen geht’s dann endlich los Richtung Niagara Falls. Da wir nicht zuviel vom Dorf erwarten (ausser schönen Wasserfällen und vielen Touristenfallen), machen wir einen grosszügigen Umweg zu Niagara-on-the-Lake, einem fast noch historischen Dörfchen.

Die Niagara Region Kanadas ist berühmt für ihre Eisweine, so z.B. den Inniskillin. Leider haben sie kein Restaurant auf der Winery, so dass wir zur besten Alternative gehen: Wine Tasting Dinner auf der Hillebrand Winery. So was von fein – und der Eiswein (Spezialität der Niagara-Region) kommt erst noch!
