Google hat kürzlich seinen Google Desktop für Linux angekündigt. Mit den Google Linux Software Repositories bietet sich nun die Möglichkeit, die Packages Google Desktop und Picasa (vermutlich kommt dann auch mal noch Google Earth hinzu) einfach zu installieren:
