In einer Mail von Michael Zalewski einen Link auf eProvisia LLC entdeckt, und neugierig angeklickt: “Unsolicited bulk mail, or SPAM, is a growing, global threat that affects productivity, privacy, and well-being of Internet users worldwide. Until now, you could only mitigate the problem using difficult, troublesome and unreliable spam filtering software. […] The minute your mail starts flowing, a dedicated team of over a hundred trained Screening and Preselection Specialists, working 24 hours a day, will begin manually reviewing, hand-picking and approving important correspondence, vigilantly discarding all junk mail.”. Nur wegen ein paar kleinen Spässchen realisiert man, dass das ganze Angebot nicht ernst gemeint ist (Man achte auf die Fussnoten!).
Was Michael Zalewski noch als Satire entwickelt hat, wurde dank der Domainfactory in Deutschland schneller umgesetzt, als man sich wünschen möchte.
Blöd ist bei diesen Angeboten nur, dass sie nur da funktionieren, wo jemand nur in einer Sprache kommuniziert. Ach ja, die Datenschutzseite habe ich fast vergessen 😉
