Lust auf etwas Zahlenmystik? Oracle 11g war ja schon lange auf die zweite Hälfte 2007 angekündigt. Aber welches Release-Datum sollte Oracle wählen? Schauen wir doch mal, der wievielte Buchstaben g im Alphabet ist: aha, der siebte. Also gut, lass uns den 11.7. wählen für den Oracle Database 11g Launch Wednesday, July 11, 2007 in New York:

Lust auf peinliche Fehler? Der Event findet in New York statt (GMT-5), aber die Zeit ist in Pacific Standard Time (GMT-8) angegeben! Wohl einfach, weil Oracle selbst in Kalifornien natürlich in PST lebt…
